Important information for International Students
The Collège O’Sullivan de Montréal inc. is proud to welcome international students.
Collège O’Sullivan de Montréal inc. is authorized (recognized) by the “Ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur” to offer programs of study leading to a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) or an Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS).
Elegibility to programs and work permit
We are a semi-private college institution subsidized by the ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur.
Our Designated learning institution number (DLI number) is O19 358 463 079.
Any candidate from outside Canada wishing to enroll at the College must meet our requirements and comply with the procedures of the Ministère de l’Immigration, Réfugiés et Citoyenneté Canada and those of the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration du Québec.
All of these candidates must also pass a language proficiency test, if required, in English or French to be admitted to the program of their choice.
To obtain a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) at the end of your studies at the college, you must complete an in-person program of at least eight months. To find out which programs are available to international students and allow you to obtain a work permit, consult the programs available to foreign nationals.
Application for admission and response
For international students who have already submitted an application for admission for the fall semester, priority will be given to students who will be able to provide their college-level Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) and their study permit letter of introduction by July 13th, . Please note that we have a limited number of places. Otherwise, the student may be placed on a waiting list or have to postpone or register for the Winter 2025 semester.
The deadline to apply for international admission for the fall semester is March 1st, and for the winter semester, August 1st.
Study permit
It is essential to obtain a study permit before leaving your country.
In order to obtain the official letter of acceptance for the study permit application, the student must pay the registration fee for the program.

Working while studying
International students studying full-time at the College may work up to 24 hours per week off campus during the academic year.
Those who have the right to work off campus can work full time during holidays scheduled in the school calendar, such as summer vacations between school years or winter vacations between sessions.
