NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2025 PRESIDENT’S AWARD 

 

The President’s Award is established in memory of Mr. J. Rodolphe Rousseau, who served as the President of Collège O’Sullivan de Montréal inc. from 1961 to 2010.  This award honors his remarkable contributions to the College’s development over more than 45 years. Mr. Rousseau was passionate about the education of young people and adults, focusing on knowledge acquisition, technical skills development, and fostering a drive for success and professional achievements.  

GOAL 

The President’s Award of Collège O’Sullivan de Montréal inc. recognizes two graduates who have distinguished themselves through their involvement and achievements in their careers. This award is presented to one graduate from the DCS program and one graduate from an ACS program.  

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS 

   To qualify for the award, candidates must meet the following criteria:  

  • Hold a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) or an Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) from Collège O’Sullivan de Montréal inc. 
  • Demonstrate professional achievements and involvement since graduation. 
  • Have accumulated at least five years of work experience since graduating. 

NOMINATION 

To submit a nomination, please include a presentation letter containing the following information: the candidate’s name, address, phone number, program of study, year of graduation, and a description of their career path and professional achievements since earning their DCS or ACS from the College. This letter should be accompanied by the candidate’s curriculum vitae which lists their professional achievements in chronological order. 

PRESENTATION OF THE AWARD 

The applications will be reviewed by a jury consisting of three people, two members from the College’s administration and one member from the board of directors. 

SELECTION CRITERIA 

The selection of the two laureates will be based on the analysis of the application and an interview, if needed. The main selection criteria are as follows:  

  • Involvement in the workplace 
  • Participation in professional or other associations 
  • Community involvement
