FAQ
Here are the most frequently asked questions.
How long does it take to organize a training session/workshop?
Generally, we can organize a workshop within 2 to 3 weeks of identifying and confirming your needs. This timeframe may vary depending on trainer availability.
How should I prepare my staff before the workshops?
You must ensure that participants are proficient in using basic office software such as Word and Excel and that they can access an online collaboration platform and use a web browser. Otherwise, no special preparation is required, other than ensuring that you:
- Inform participants of the objectives and structure of the workshops.
- Free up their time so they can fully participate.
- Provide them with a quiet, well-equipped workspace (if the training is online).
- Encourage an open attitude towards learning and experimentation.
How does the College ensure that free AI tools will not create a security breach in the network or access the company’s confidential data or documents?
The College applies a rigorous approach to cybersecurity and data protection when using or recommending artificial intelligence tools in its workshops:
- Only AI tools that have undergone a technical and ethical evaluation are used in training. We prioritize recognized, transparent platforms that comply with Canadian security standards.
- Demonstrations and practical exercises are conducted in isolated or simulated environments, without access to internal networks or sensitive company data.
- Participants are never asked to submit real or confidential documents to free AI tools. Fictional or anonymized datasets are used for educational purposes.
- Our training includes modules on digital security and the risks associated with the uncontrolled use of AI tools. Staff are equipped to adopt safe and responsible practices.
