A paralegal<\/strong>, also known as a legal assistant, is to a lawyer what a nurse is to a doctor<\/strong>: an indispensable colleague<\/strong><\/em>. A paralegal is a legal professional who performs tasks requiring knowledge of legal concepts.<\/p>\n

They do research, prepare documents, analyze files, work with lawyers on different cases, gather information, and more. Paralegals can assist lawyers and other professionals with research, drafting, and other tasks. It is important to note that paralegals can work hand in hand with lawyers on their projects, but they cannot plead in court or offer help or legal assistance.<\/p>\n
