To meet the program requirements, a candidate must

Have a Secondary School Diploma (SSD)

A candidate who obtained an SSD without one of the following courses must communicate with their respective school board in order to pursue remedial activities for the missing courses:

- Secondary IV History and Citizenship Education
- Secondary IV Science and Technology or Technological and Scientific Applications
- Secondary V Language of Instruction
- Secondary V Second Language
- Secondary IV Mathematics


Have a Secondary Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) including the following courses :
- Secondary V Language of Instruction
- Secondary V Second Language
- Secondary IV Mathematics


Have an equivalent qualification for a person who has studied outside Québec


Have an equivalent experience and qualifications and have interrupted his or her full-time studies for a period of at least 36 consecutive months


A candidate must

Meet the specific prerequisites of the 411.A0 program of studies :
- Secondary IV Mathematics: Cultural, Social and Technical Option (CST) or 426, 436 or 514
410.E0 (Module Comptabilité)
- Secondary IV Mathematics: Technical and Scientific or Science Options or Secondary V Mathematics (CST) or 436
410.E0 (Module Informatique)
- Secondary V Mathematics: Technical and Scientific or Science Options or 526

A candidate who has not obtained his or her SSD or DVS can be accepted conditionally if no more than 6 credits are missing to obtain the SSD or DVS, excluding the Secondary IV credits in Mathematics which is a specific prerequisite for admission. In such a case, the candidate must agree to complete the missing credits during his or her first semester of studies.

Have a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS)


Have received instruction deemed sufficient by the College and who meets one of the following conditions :
- Have interrupted their studies for at least two consecutive semesters or one school year.
- Have completed at least one year of post-secondary studies spread over one year or more.
A combination of post-secondary studies and interruption of studies is acceptable.
Studies towards the completion of a DVS will be considered post-secondary education.


- Admission form;
- High school transcript issued by the “Ministère de l'Éducation et de l'Enseignement Supérieur”;
- Last post high school transcript if applicable;
- Or equivalent issued by the “Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Diversité et de l'Inclusion du Québec”;
- Certified birth certificate;
- Candidates born outside of Canada must submit documents proving their official status in Québec;
- Application fee;

O’Sullivan College operates on a first-come, first serve basis. Applications are processed throughout the year.
Applicants who are in their final year of high school receive a conditional acceptance pending receipt of their high school diploma.

An applicant will usually be notified of the Admissions Committee’s decision within three weeks of his/her application during the registration period.
